The hardest working restaurant moguls (Little Big Burger, Boxer Sushi, Boxer Ramen,Yakuza) are at it again! Micah and Katie Camden have signed leases and begun construction on two new SE Portland storefronts on Divsion & Hawthorne. As reported in Portland Monthly, Camden will introduce a new concept: "Son of a Biscuit" a fried chicken shack at 20th & Division at the failed Pizzicato outpost. Think Southern-style hot chicken (local, free range birds of course!) with fresh Northwest ingredients. A second Blue Star Donuts is planned for the former Fujin restaurant in the heart of Hawthorne's busy retail core.
Kia Hartley at Urban Works Real Estate negotiated both lease transactions on the Camden's behalf. Great work Kia!
The local sustainable furniture retailer, Green Furniture Solutions has found a home in Portland's burgeoning "West End." The 7,000 SF, former London Influence space, fronts SW 10th and features high ceilings, expansive storefront glass and an open floor plan, which make this an ideal site for an environmentally friendly retailer.
Urban Works is proud to have represented the Landlord is this transaction.
