Good work Charlotte Larson for helping Laura Gunderson at The Oregonian with their Mississippi retailer story this past Sunday in the business section. "Since January, eight of nine business owners signing new leases on Mississippi with Urban Works Real Estate have been women: Slipper; Lisa Stanger and Mara Bryner's new and resale children's store, Mississippi Treehouse; Evy Cowan and Jeneen Doumitt's adult toys shop, She Bop; and Kate Matlock, Lillian Matlock and Janett Elliott's sewing store, SewPo Fabric."
The story really does show that urban retail is healthy in Portland's central city neighborhoods.
